The Research Office offers broad support for faculty and student research programs, and through the Office of Industry and Community Engagement (ICE), a division of Research and Graduate Studies, serves as Acadia's primary point of contact for industry, government, and community groups interested in research collaborations and outreach activities. ICE also assists in the commercialization of technologies developed by faculty members at Acadia, and promotes and manages intellectual property awareness and protection.
With nine research centres on campus, Acadia offers expertise in areas as diverse as the science of coastal environments, ethnocultural diversity and social justice, environmental monitoring and climate change, food sensory research, organizational relationships, data mining, New England Planter studies, the impact of digital technologies, and lifestyle choices contributing to health and wellness. Yet this is only a smattering of the diversity of research in which faculty and students are engaged.
Feel free to contact us to discuss your research needs or aspirations.
